Whether you prefer to update affordable thrift store finds or DIY a holiday project, repurposing and crafting is an ideal and budget-friendly way to decorate your home for the holidays.

From easy diamond dust ornaments to DIY antique sleigh bells, you can make all your neutral holiday decorating dreams come true with these 20 DIY neutral Christmas decorating ideas.

TIPS FOR CREATING INEXPENSIVE DIY CHRISTMAS CRAFTS AND PROJECTS

1.  Have an open mind while thrifting and hunt for items that can be repurposed or updated into neutral holiday decor.

3. Think about how you can repurpose or neutralize the decor you currently own.

4. Be selective with the craft supplies that you buy and purchase items that can be used for multiple projects.  Some of my favorite multi-purpose craft supplies include Gold Leaf Rub 'n Buff,  white chalk paint, black chalk paint, white spray paint, Diamond Dust, and antique wax,
