VINTAGE DECOR AND CURATED DISPLAYS FROM THE LUCKETTS FALL MARKET!
Another incredible Lucketts Market has come and gone, and I'm finally getting around to sharing a recap.
The antique baker's rack was the perfect piece for displaying the collection of vintage wool blankets.
It takes weeks to prepare, plan, and execute this twice-a-year vintage market, and in a matter of a weekend, it was all over.
The inventory that takes months to gather and curate was quickly picked through, wiped out, and headed to new homes.
Each year, the Lucketts crew gathers some of the best vintage vendors from all over the U.S, and each year they outdo themselves with one-of-a-kind finds and displays. It's definitely the place to be and worth the trip if you love vintage and antique decor.
Before I take you on a tour of the two spaces I curated, I want to share some views from around the market that caught my eye.
Savannah from The Dutch House and Dave from Farmhowz are masters at finding LARGE one-of-a-kind antique and apothecary cabinets.
Check out these gorgeous pieces that stopped me in my tracks!
Brandi, the queen of vintage Christmas, knocked it out of the park again with her vintage Christmas displays. I don't know how she does it, but she always brings the best and most unique vintage Christmas decor.
There is so much vintage Christmas to take in throughout her booth.
Of course, my favorite was her vintage Santa mugs display!
I loved this vintage display from husband and wife duo, Modish Moth. How incredible is the Caribou mounted to an old wooden canoe?
Jenni and Jared from JBS Mercantile are some of the sweetest people I know. Jenni always finds the best vintage bamboo, ornate brass, planters, and one-of-a-kind finds. She's also an incredibly talented jewelry designer and maker.
Now, let's take a tour of the two spaces I curated for the fall market.
I kept the decor neutral inside the pavilion except for the pop of burnt orange from the vintage velvet swivel chairs.
On one side of the booth, I created a vintage bar display on top of a tall antique cabinet using heavy crystal decanters, barware, canisters, brass, and a variety of mortars and pestles. The wall was used to display a few presidential artworks and eagle mirrors.
The incredible large antique cabinet that I snaggged from an auction for a STEAL was filled with brass, alarm clocks. artwork, flower frogs, pharacutical bottles, crocks, and wood decor.
I had a little more fun with color on the backside space and created a vintage winter cabin display.
I've been collecting vintage skis, snowshoes, thermoses, lanterns, and wool blankets for months. It was so nice to finally see it all come together!
I love thrifting and curating vintage finds, but more than anything, seeing others excited over their purchases and knowing I played a small role in helping make their house a home is by far the best part of my "job".
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who shopped my booth, stopped to say hi, or offered encouraging words. Your support allows me to be home with my kids and do what I love, and for that I am forever grateful!
