Neutral Vintage Christmas Entry

The renovations in the living room and entry are FINISHED and now it's time to deck the halls for the holidays! How about a little entryway Christmas tour?

In the past, I've created Christmas gallery walls in our entry loaded with lots of red Christmas decor. This year, I decided to keep things neutral and decorate with cool neutral tones and touches of vintage brass.

I knew I wanted to swap out the mirror in the entry for Christmas decor, but I wasn't about to nail more holes into the walls that I just patched and painted. I've used Command™ Products in the past for easy, damage-free decorating, so I headed to Walmart to grab what I needed.
             
                
Walmart had a HUGE variety of Command™ Products to choose from.  I ended up buying the Command™ Medium Designer Hooks, Command™ Small Wire Hooks and Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strips.  I also bought a pack of 3 flocked wreaths and a large eucalyptus wreath to help decorate the entry.

I like to work with existing screws and nails I already have in walls, so I started by hanging a window from the two screws I used to hang the entry mirror.

Next, I grabbed two Command™ Small Wire Hooks to hang a Christmas sign that I bought a few years ago. They hold strong and were perfect for hanging the large, lightweight sign.

I used the same Command™ Small Wire Hooks to hang the three flocked wreaths from the window. These hooks are a great alternative if you don't want to hang wreaths from jute or ribbon.

I hung the large Eucalyptus wreath above our front door using a Command™ Medium Designer Hook. These hooks are large and hold strong and tolerate the constant opening and slamming of the front door.

             

I love how the entry came together, especially that it's neutral enough to transition perfectly into winter.

I kept the Christmas decorating neutral, but I do plan to sneak a little red into the mudroom and kitchen.  How do you prefer to decorate during the holidays? Do you gravitate towards neutrals or are you a traditional red and green Christmas decorator?
