Repurpose vintage letterpress letters into cool and unique keychains! There are a handful of items I like to keep an eye out for when auctioning and vintage letterpress letters are one of them. They have tons of character, are perfect for craft projects and look great when paired and styled with vintage decor. Just recently, I scored a full tray of vintage letterpress letters and knew right away they would make cool and unique keychains. ...

80's Dresser Turned Distressed Chest
Transform and modernize a dated 80's dresser into the perfect distressed chest! Are you starting to notice a theme with my recent furniture makeovers? I'm kind of obsessed with transforming and modernizing dated 80's dressers . I love painting MCM furniture , but being able to build, transform and update unwanted or dated furniture is something that truly makes me happy. Oddly enough, I actually find painting and updating furniture relaxing and incredibly rewarding. It's one of my favorite ways to relieve stress, so the more furniture I can redo the better. Just recently, I found a small dated dresser on Facebook Marketplace that needed a little updating. The curved base and batwing hardware drastically dated the dresser, but it wasn't anything a little wood, paint and new hardware couldn't fix. ...

I wasn't too optimistic about finding furniture, but you never know what you'll find unless you stop and look, right? Unfortunately, there were no good dressers, but I did find a little wood side table that had potential. It was the perfect project piece that I knew I could knock out quickly. I started working on the table as soon as I got home and was able to give it an update, take pictures and finish the blog post in just a few hours. The makeover was super quick, easy and affordable, which is my favorite kind of project. ...

Let's Go Thrifting: Recent Auction and Thrift Store Finds
Thrifting and picking for unique vintage decor. Oh hey, remember me? I've been a bad blogger. Lately, my days have been spent picking up furniture, hunting for new thrift stores and traveling to spend hours upon hours at auctions. I've been so busy thrifting, picking and painting furniture that I haven't had time to work on or document a single DIY project. I'm not complaining. Thrifting and picking are what I love, but unfortunately, it leaves little time for house projects and blogging. I know thrifting may not interest everyone, but I love hunting for deals and wanted to share a few of my favorite thrift store and auction finds and purchases. ...
