Warm copper and cool blue come together to create a beautiful and timeless vintage display!
It was time to create another display for Lily & Birch Market, and this month's collection did not disappoint!
I asked vendors to cull their collections of vintage copper and blue and white decor, including Chinoiserie, Delftware, and Blue Willow.
Yesterday, I worked with the curated collaborative collection to create a beautiful and timeless vintage display.
The pairing of reflective copper with cool and crisp blue and white created such a beautiful, high-contrast, eye-catching display.
We were able to pack and layer the shelves with original vintage pieces, including cookware, dishware, canisters, planters, pitchers, kettles, and unique decorative pieces.
Vintage books and stacks of plates were used to raise and layer individual pieces, while planters and bowls corralled smaller items, creating a full and layered look.
WHERE TO SHOP FOR VINTAGE COPPER, BLUE, AND WHITE DECOR
My favorite place to find unique and affordable vintage copper, Blue Onion china, chinoiserie, Delftware, and Blue Willow is at thrift stores. I typically don't gravitate towards blue decor and dishware, but I do see it often while thrifting.
Antique malls, vintage markets, flea markets, yard sales, eBay, Etsy, and Instagram retailers are other fantastic resources for vintage decor and dishware.
TIP: Thrift in older communities to increase your chances of finding vintage items.
