Repurposed Office Sign

Affiliate links have been provided for convenience.  For more information, see my full disclosure here.

WAY back in October I shared a few recent Goodwill purchases, including a small wood sign that I picked up for $3.00.  I always look for good quality wood signs when I'm thrifting.  They're easy to update, inexpensive and can be used for any decor style.  I didn't have a project in mind for this particular sign, but I knew one day it would come in handy.

Well, that day has arrived.

This little $3.00 sign was the perfect fix for hiding an eye sore (more about that on Wednesday)

I could have kept the sign as is, but I was feeling extra nice and decided to cover up the husband jab :)

I used my favorite (and super quick) method for making signs.  A little chalk paint, elmer's adhesive letters, wax and aging dust are all you need to make your own custom sign.

See, I told you they are easy to make.

I'll give you one guess where I hung the sign...

  1. Love this! Just FYI your link to the aging dust is the same as the link for the Elmer's adhesive letters.
