I've shared the kids art space in the past, but wanted to share a closer look at how I'm organizing some of their art supplies while also keeping the space stylish.
Most of the kids larger art supplies are contained in the Goodwill dresser, but I wanted a few items easily accessible and out in the open for them to enjoy. After all, this is a family space and the kids need an area to make a mess and get creative too.
First and foremost I needed to spruce up a few basic mason jars. I started with small cardboard tags that I picked up from Tuesday Morning for just a couple dollars. I stamped each tag using my rubber stamping kit then tied a tag around each mason jar with jute. Simple, cute and the perfect finishing touch.
I placed the mason jars in this gorgeous wood and metal industrial storage caddy that I stole from my mom, haha. Thanks mom! For those wondering, she ordered it from Ballard Designs, but unfortunately I can't seem to find it online anymore.
Do you remember that little wood box I purchased from Luckett's Spring Market? How perfect is it for crayon storage?
I love that the kids get to have their supplies handy for easy crafting and coloring while I get to have a stylish and organized space. It's been the perfect solution for our family and I'm so glad our kids enjoy this little space just for them.
