How to clean and restore an antique oak card catalog without losing its original character! Who doesn't love authentic antique card catalogs and multi-drawer cabinets? They are by far my favorite pieces to hunt for, both for myself and my vintage shop . In the past, I've fully refinished card catalogs , but a recent oak card catalog that I just picked up had so much original character that I couldn't bring myself to fully refinish it. It had some marks and blemishes but was nothing I couldn't take care of without completely sanding, staining and refinishing. Simple and Stylish Kitchen Counter Decor
Keep your kitchen functional and stylish with these simple kitchen counter decorating tips! Kitchen countertops are magnets for unnecessary decor and clutter. Trust me, I know how quickly and easily random clutter can accumulate. I try to keep my kitchen counters clean, but it never fails, as soon as I get them cleared off they get covered again. I finally decided I had had enough and cleaned, organized, and simplified my kitchen counters, hoping to keep them clutter-free for good. Our kitchen, living room, and dining room are completely open, so a cluttered and unorganized kitchen negatively impacts how I feel about the rest of my home. Can you relate? Keeping the kitchen counters clean, the sink clear, the countertops simplified and my plant babies thriving has reduced my stress and improved my mood, which makes me one happy mama. There can be a fine line though between having a clean, organized, and lived-in kitchen versus one that feels bare, ......

Hallway Update: $8.00 Goodwill Antique Stool Makeover
An $8 antique wood and rush saddle seat stool gets a quick and simple raw wood makeover! It's been months since I've found anything worth buying at my local Goodwill. Open Floor Plan: Rancher With Open Center Stairs
A renovated 1970's rancher style home with open center stairs. About two years ago, our traditional ranch-style home went from having small, dark, boxed in rooms to light, bright and completely open. I took you along for the entire process of the renovation , but never shared in depth detail and pictures of the open center stairs. There's very little inspiration on old ranchers with open center stairs, so in an effort to help others who plan similar renovations, I'm sharing a closer look at the design and layout of our open-concept center rancher stairs. ...

2022 Lucketts Spring Market
Take a tour of a vintage booth from one of the hippest vintage markets on the East Coast! Over the past few weeks, I've spent my days sanding, painting, stripping, staining, picking, painting and pricing in preparation for the Lucketts Spring Market. The last week has been a whirlwind full of long days, sleepless nights and lots of hard work. Even so, the Lucketts market was worth every minute, and I had such a great time with my fellow Sweet Clover vendors and catching up with some of my absolute favorite vintage dealers. Before I get to the recap of my booth, I want to take a minute to share some of the tremendous talent at the market....

A collection of furniture and vintage finds from Facebook Marketplace, auctions, antique malls and thrift stores! It's been a while since I've shared a Let's Go Thrifting post , so how about another recap? Today, I'm sharing a few recent finds from auctions, thrift stores, antique malls and Facebook Marketplace.
