Thrifted and styled: A curated collection of thrifted summer decor and displays!
I always have an open mind while thrifting.
I browse all aisles and keep an eye out for anything that I'm normally drawn to or that influences a new display idea.
Sometimes I thrift for a particular theme, and sometimes I find items that inspire new ideas.
This summer, I stumbled upon some great thrifted items that inspired a fun, vintage strawberry picnic theme and a vintage nautical display.
I don't tend to buy or decorate with red, and I certainly didn't go thrifting looking for vintage strawberry decor.
As soon as I saw the most adorable strawberry glasses on the thrift store shelf, I knew I couldn't leave them behind. I grabbed a set of tall and short strawberry glasses, then found a super cute vintage strawberry pitcher.
After finding the vintage strawberry glasses and pitcher, I knew I had to curate a fun summer strawberry display.
I kept my eye open for coordinating items and stumbled upon a red and white plaid tablecloth, perfect for a summer picnic!
Now that I had it set in my mind that I was going to curate a vintage strawberry picnic display, I hit up as many thrift stores as I could, looking for strawberry decor.
These vintage Sears strawberry canisters were a total score that I was super excited about.
I also found a couple of strawberry teapots, plates, salt and pepper shakers, embroidered napkins, and an adorable vintage strawberry mug that I keep for myself.
I added in a few vintage badminton rackets and picnic baskets, creating the most adorable vintage strawberry picnic display!
