Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend?
I FINALLY managed to finish my 2x4 project and now all that's left is to move it into place and get it photographed. If I'm lucky I'll be able to share it with you all on Friday. I'm also almost done updating the $3.00 metal card catalogs that I snagged from Goodwill. They've been sitting in my office for months and I finally got around to giving them a minor makeover. I also finished my #MonthlyDIYChallenge project for Wednesday, so make sure to stop back to see what I created.
Until then, let's hit a few stores and check out some items that caught my eye during my latest shopping trips.
Whenever I go to Target I always make a detour to the center of the store. It's where they display all their new home decor items and I always end up getting sidetracked and forget why I actually came to the store. Please tell me I'm not the only one that this happens to :)

Wouldn't it make a great house warming gift?
You probably know that I love brass desk lamps. I already own two that I purchased from Target (here and here), but I also love this one!
I have one in my bedroom and another in my office and also use them for staging furniture makeovers.
And how about this amazing MCM side table? At the time it was only $84.99 and if it weren't for a minor flaw in the top I would have taken it home. It would have made a nice replacement for my husbands childhood nightstand that we're still using in our bedroom.
I have the smaller version of this chest (mine was $99) and use it in my living room to store my sons trucks and toys. There's no better way to hide and store toys than with a beautiful wood chest. It can also double as a side table for drinks if need be.
