Glass Glitter Pallet Trees

THANK YOU so much for your kind words regarding yesterday's post.  I finally got the basement looking halfway decent, just in time to have friends over this Saturday.  This whole experience definitely made me realize we have WAY too much stuff and I was starting to think I was a borderline hoarder.  As I was cleaning up and organizing I ended up giving away bags and bags of clothes, toys and home decor items that we no longer need.  It's amazing how much calmer you feel when you don't have clutter everywhere.  Don't get me wrong, the basement still has a way to go, but at least it's coming along.

Today, I'm sharing one more pallet tree then I'm done with Christmas pallet projects.  Are you glad?  If you missed my other pallet trees you can check them out here and here.
These little pallet trees were fun to create and were made from the scrap pieces leftover from my large rustic pallet tree.

I took the scrap triangles and made a straight cut with the chop saw on 2 of the three tree pieces then glued them together.

After the glue was dry, I painted each of them with shimmery white paint then covered them in glass glitter.

I love how the light reflects off the glass glitter!

  1. I LOVE your pallet projects Katie!!! These are so pretty girl! And I'm thrilled to hear that you are finding a way to put a positive spin on this whole basement debacle! Been thinking of you my friend! xo

  2. I officially declare you the queen of pallet projects! These are adorable, Katie! I'm glad the basement is coming along, and I'm totally with you…I feel stressed out when my house is cluttered and it always feels better to empty the space a bit and give stuff away. Hope you have a Merry Christmas, friend!! -Amy
