30 Easter Basket Ideas (Besides Candy)

First, a little basket stuffer that I put together for my daughter's basket.  When she was younger we painted her nails for some special occasion.  I thought it was cute, but I had no idea I was setting myself up for disaster.  Ever since, she has not gone one day without having nail polish on.   At least it's a great stocking and Easter basket stuffer.  That's a major bonus of having a girl.  If you have boys then you know how hard it is to come up with stocking stuffers.  You can only buy so many match box cars and monster trucks.

I knew my daughter would love fun nail polish colors for Spring and Summer, so I picked up some  for her Easter basket.  Instead of just throwing them in her basket, I put them inside large plastic eggs from the dollar store, slipped the eggs into clear craft bags and sealed them off with fun scrapbook paper.

Each year we take our kids on an Easter egg hunt, which they end up getting tons of chocolate and candy.  This year we went on two and the kids have more than enough candy already.  So, for their Easter baskets I bought their favorite candy (M&M's for my son and skittles for my daughter) and a few other special treats and filled the rest with non food items.
