2013 in Review...

It's only been four months since starting this blog, but I feel like I have accomplished so much already. 2014 promises to be an exciting year for "our little house" (more on that later), so before we start 2014 I wanted to rewind and recap 2013.

September started with back to school and preparing for another year by organizing the little nook in our kitchen.

I shared the storage tags that I made for the kids toy baskets in the basement as well as their art space.

Then I got started on a few fall projects and decorated the house with a few colorful mums and paper bats for Halloween.

October started off with a few organizing projects in the office.  I organized my desk drawers with cardboard drawer organizers and then moved on and organized the rest of the office corner.

I made progress in our bedroom by painting stripes on the back wall.

Then I worked hard making a custom trash truck costume for Owen and a Flo costume for me to wear to a Halloween party.

November was an exciting month that included some of my favorite projects.  I revealed our master bedroomupdated a bookcase, made DIY steel shelves for Owen's room, lengthened West Elm inspired curtains,  and got started on a few Christmas decorations by making felt trees.

December started off with my DIY advent calendar to countdown the 25 days until Christmas.

I shared a few Christmas projects including my glitter deer artSanta belt mason jar and holiday entry table.

I ended off the year with my plans to update our master bathroom on $100 or less.

I am really excited for 2014 and what's to come.  We have some big house projects in the works that I hope to share soon.   I hope you'll stick around as I continue to share what's going on around our little house of ours.
