2013 Halloween Costume Reveal...

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  My husband and I along with the kids went to a Halloween party that was amazing.  Our neighbor Michelle did an incredible job with all the food and decorations. I really wish I would have taken my camera to show you all.

The last time I dressed up for Halloween was probably 10 years ago, so when we got the invitation in the mail for the Halloween party I had no idea what I was going to be.  About two weeks before the party the idea to dress like Flo came to me while at the salon getting my hair done.  Another lady was talking about dressing up like her and immediately I knew that would be perfect for me.  I am a licensed insurance agent who works for a large insurance company, which is not Progressive.  I thought it would be pretty funny to dress up as a competitors "celebrity".

Yes, I realized I had the name tag on the wrong side.  I promptly changed it after these pictures! Crises adverted.

I made my entire costume instead of spending the money on buying one at the store.

For the life of me I could not figure out how to reverse an image to print it on iron transfer paper.  I got tired of trying so I just printed the progressive logo on regular paper and used mod podge to glue it to the apron.  I can't imagine I would ever put this apron in the washer, but if that is your plan then mod podge would obviously not work.

All day my daughter was calling me Flo and said she wanted to dress like Flo next year.  I take that as costume success!
