Lucketts Spring Market Recap

Beautiful Vintage Pieces from Lucketts Spring Market

Happy Monday! Did you all have a great weekend?  I was fortunate enough to make the hour drive to Lucketts for their 2015 Spring market.   It was a girls day with my daughter, mom and sister in law and we had such a great time.   If you have never experienced Luckett's Spring Market, you are seriously missing out!  This place is a junker's dream.  They had over 170 vendors full of all kinds of vintage rustic goodness.  I was thrilled to finally meet Marian from Miss Mustard Seed and Cassie from Cassie Bustamante, both of which had fantastic booths.

 Vintage door knobs and handles
I especially loved all the piles of miscellaneous odds and ends.  There was everything from vintage doorknobs and hardware to old locker tags and wood scraps.  They had it all!

There was also an incredible abundance of windows, doors and shutters.  Any style, any color...it was all there.

As much as I loved all the fantastic leftover building materials, my favorite part of the market was hands down the incredible furniture pieces.  You guys, every time I turned around I saw a piece of furniture that caught my eye.  If budget and space were no option I would have bought every single one of these pieces below.

I loved the color and uniqueness of this beautiful mint cabinet.  The combination of drawers and open storage are perfect.

And don't even get me started on all the incredible card catalogs.   They had small ones, large ones and everything in-between.

This one completely stole my heart and I probably would have mortgaged my house (kidding, not kidding) if it weren't already sold :(
 Large card catalog
This one was incredible too!  At the time I had no idea where it would go in my small house and at $400+ dollars I couldn't justify the expense.   Now I'm kicking myself for not bringing this guy home with me, It would have been perfect in our garage.

This was another great architects cabinet that was in fantastic shape.

And the lockers, oh the lockers!  I have no idea why I did not buy these two.  They would have been perfect for the mudroom!

And how cute is this little trailer?

I actually escaped the market with only a small dent in my wallet.  How that happened, I have no idea.

After we left the Spring Market we drove about a mile down the road to another Vintage shop, Rust and Feathers.   They had some incredible pieces as well as another set of lockers that I almost bought.

They also had a slew of Annie Sloan chalk paint, vintage metal letters (I bought a number 4!) and some incredible furniture pieces.

Overall, it was a great day full of endless inspiration and so many incredibly unique pieces.
