Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had a great week and have fun plans for the weekend.  I have plans, but they're far from fun.  You may remember a few months ago when I accidentally flooded the basement.  It was a few weeks before Christmas and after removing the padding and letting the carpet dry, there wasn't time to organize and deal with the mess.  We just shoved everything in my husbands office and closed the doors.  Meanwhile, he's been working at the coffee table and is in desperate need of his office space.  So, I've declared this weekend to be a major spring cleaning of our junk.   Of course I'll also find time to work on another furniture update.  It's part of the office, so that counts as cleaning, right?

Now, onto this weeks Friday Favorites!

(Please pin from the original source, thank you!)

Unfortunately, my laundry room is located in the dark unfinished space in our basement.  I've been slowly chipping away at "finishing" this space to make it feel lighter and brighter, but if I had it my way it would look something like this beautiful space from The Wood Grain Cottage.

I've always loved the look of sliding barn doors and this one from the Hunted Interior is absolutely gorgeous.  Now, I just have to convince my husband that we NEED one of these.

I love a good quick and easy DIY project, so when I saw these adorable number tags from Farm House 40 I knew I needed to add them to my project list.   Side note, did anyone else notice the fabulous card catalog cabinet behind the basket?  Love it!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the vintage map that I spotted last weekend at the local vintage market.  Although I didn't purchase it, I would love to have one in my home.  You can imagine my surprise when just a few days later I stumbled upon this awesome tutorial from Bless'er house.

Our kitchen remodel is a little ways off, but that doesn't stop me from pinning ideas to my Kitchen Inspiration board.   One of my latest favorites is this beautiful white kitchen from Hello From The Natos.

Have a wonderful weekend!
