Fall Home Tour

FallHomeTourGraphic

Welcome to my fall home tour!   If this is your first time visiting, welcome, I'm so glad you stopped by.   My home is full of cool neutral tones and my fall decorating is no different.  As much as I love the bright oranges and reds of fall, you won't see much of those colors in my home.  As a matter of fact, you won't see a whole lot of fall decorations.  I'm more of a minimalist when it comes to seasonal decor.  With that being said, let's get on with the tour!

Please come in!
When you enter through our front door you'll step into a small entryway that I filled with my HomeGoods altered console table .  This table is my absolute favorite place to decorate for the seasons.  Since we don't have a fireplace mantel upstairs, this little table becomes my "mantel."

This year I went simple with a few acorns,  DIY pallet pumpkins, and a rustic Goodwill frame turned fall decor.
Aren't those acorns so cute?

The harvest sign was printed from DIY Swank (found here) and adds just the right touch of fall to an  otherwise boring mirror.

The dining room got a few fall touches with some fall mums and pumpkins.
I went simple on the dining room table by filling mason jars with mums.

The kitchen is free of fall decor, but I did pretty up our chalkboard wall with some fun fall art.

Many evenings my family eats dinner outside or my husband and I hang out while the kids ride bikes on the deck or play on the swing set.  It's the perfect place to relax, unwind and have a drink.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the tour!  You may want to follow along on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest to keep up on what's happening around my little house.

  20. I really enjoyed your home tour, Katie! I'm not one for bold seasonal color, either. Your home looks so inviting and cozy. I do have a question about your mason jar table "runner" (which I LOVE) - can you please tell me where you purchased it?

    1. Thanks so much Amy! My mom actually bought the metal basket from Ballard Designs this year when it was on sale. We planned on sharing it for parties, but I snagged it to use a center piece! I just checked BD online and didn't see it on their website. I would give them a call if you're interested in it. Good Luck!

  24. What a wonderful tour of your home! I have to say, your minimalistic take on seasonal decor is just enough to end up with the maximum elegance and beauty of your home. The little touches are what make it all so special. Anyway, your home does look lovely as ever. My favorite decor piece would have to be your use of the classical pumpkin and their strategic placements. Thanks for giving us that tour! I hope everyone is doing well!
