The other day while sorting through our mess of an office, I spotted the extra wood shelf that I built a few months ago. I had made four shelves, but only ended up using 3 of them in Paige's room. Not knowing what to do with the fourth one, I just threw it in the office. It sat there for a few months, until I saw it and instantly got an idea to install the shelf just above the kids art table.
I've mentioned before that my daughter LOVES to draw and color. I've always had a little space for her be creative, but now i've taken it a step further.
I realized that if her supplies aren't out and easily accessible she doesn't use them as often. The shelf was an easy way to resolve that issue and keep her art supplies out in the open and still organized.
I also picked up some wood letters to spell "CREATE" and covered them in fun scrapbook paper.
