I started by tapping off the jars with frog tape and plastic bags.
Then I sprayed on a few coats of blue spray paint.
Once everything was dry, I put brown crinkle paper in the bottom of each jar then filled the rest with goodies (gift card, jewelry, chocolate and travel tissues just because I liked the patterns).
The lids were spray painted gold and wrapped in ribbon to finish off the jars. After I was done and stood back to look at them, they seemed a little too plain. So, I grabbed a blank card cut it in half and attached it to the jars with jute.
It wasn't the right color, but I liked the bright mint green, so I just went for it.
Not only did this idea work for giving a mother's day gift, but would also work for any gift giving occasion.
