It's no surprise around here that I love vintage Reader's Digest books. I'm not talking about just any Reader's Digest books, I'm talking about the ones from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I may even have a slight obsession with these books. They are by far my favorite item to decorate with. I use them all over my house to add height to decor pieces and color to a room. If you're lucky enough to come across them you will see that the covers are colorful and vibrant and the patterns unique.
Aren't they pretty?
I find mine at local Goodwill stores and thrift shops. Most of the time no one buys them so they end up going half off. I guess the majority of the population doesn't have a love for them like I do. You can't find a decorating item for $1.30 that has more impact than these colorful books.
I use them standing.....
Anyone else have a love for these books like I do?
Here's a sneak peak at what I've been working on with some extra books I had laying around.
