The Vintage Market at Glenwood...

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Saturday morning I hit up The Vintage Market in Glenwood, Maryland with my mom and soon to be sister-in-law.  It was my first time experiencing the market and I was like a kid in a candy store!  There were unique pieces and inspiration everywhere you looked.  If you live in or around Howard County, Maryland I would highly suggest checking it out.  I'm sure you will not be disappointed.  They usually are held the second weekend of the month.  Although, they will have another one in two weeks and you bet I will be there.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with The Vintage Market.  I just think it's really cool and worth sharing.

As I walked around, I snapped a few pictures to show you all.  You should know that I DO NOT have an IPhone (gasp!!!).  Yes, I know what you are thinking.  How in the world do I live without an IPhone?  Easy, I make it through knowing I don't have a $100 phone bill.  I do have a new iPad that I took pictures with. Yeah, people probably thought I was crazy.

So, this is what caught my eye...

Lots of chalk paint and uniquely painted furniture.

  Wooden crates and vintage suitcases...

Lamps...

Christmas decor...

and pillows...

Even though there were some amazing things I controlled my urge to buy everything and walked out with only a few things for myself and a few Christmas gifts.  So, what did I buy?
I thought this Christmas countdown was really cute and great for the kids to countdown to Christmas.  It's a chalkboard and even has a lip at the top to hold chalk.  Love!

I also picked up this "Be Merry" sign that is made out of sheet metal.  It gave me an idea to do something similar, only larger.  We'll see...

After we left "The Vintage Market" we made a trip down the road to another great shop, "The Pink Cabbage."  How I have lived 30 years and not known about these stores is beyond me.  Thank goodness I have my mom to show me all the great unique shops.

For months I have been looking for a vintage crate with dividers.  They had a ton of them at "The Vintage Market", but I didn't find exactly what I was looking for.  I did however find one at "The Pink Cabbage."

I have plans for this crate and can't wait to show you how it will be used.

I also got this cute hat for $12.00!
Love it!
